You are warmly welcomed to attend:
Stokey WI Meeting this Month
on Monday 11th May at 8pm
Our local Stokey WI Charity the Refugee Women's Association
http://www.refugeewomen.org.uk
based in the Reeves Paintworks building in Dalston, are going to
update us on their activity over the last year helping women refugees
in London from all over the world including China and Afghanistan, and
how they used the £500 we helped to raise by baking cakes last summer
and turning up at the http://www.beeandtea.co.uk charity tea in St Peter's De Beauvoir Crypt Cafe
On Monday's meeting, if you feel like it, enter the Cupcake
Competition & bring a cup cake or two you have baked and decorated
and we will vote with a voluntary contribution - suggested donation of
50p - each as to the winner - all funds raised to go to the Refugee
Women's Assoication.
Decorating cup cakes with a bit of artistic flair will hopefully fire
you up to volunteer to bake a cake, come along and or help serve teas on
the day with the Annaul Charity Tea this year:
