You are warmly welcomed to attend: Stokey WI Meeting this Month on

Monday 11th May at 8pm to inspire us to get involved and make cakes attend the annual Bee & Tea  charity tea

Our local Stokey WI Charity the Refugee Women's Association based in the Reeves Paintworks building in Dalston, are going to update us on their activity over the last year helping women refugees in London from all over the world including China and Afghanistan:  How they used the £500 we helped to raise by baking cakes last summer and turning up at the charity tea in St Peter's De Beauvoir Crypt Cafe On Monday's meeting.

If you feel like it, enter the Cupcake Competition - bring a cup cake or two you have baked and decorated and we will vote with a voluntary contribution - suggested donation of 50p - each  to the winner.

All funds raised to go to the Refugee Women's Assoication. Decorating cup cakes with a bit of artistic flair will hopefully fire you up to volunteer to bake a cake or cup cakes, come along and / or help serve teas on the day with the Annaul Charity Tea this year: Bee & Tea Refugee Women's Association Charity Tea

VENUE: ST PETER'S DE BEAUVOIR with live piano duets

We also have the Chair of trustees and Founder of the Hackney Migrant Centre in 2007
Rayah Feldman  talking to us after about what they do with the possibility of signing up to volunteer.

Anna Kidd is walking the Thames path during this month and Middlesex has the WI Centenary baton and is passing to Surrey during the walk - all sponsorship much appreciated - please talk to her directly about this

Looking forward to seeing you on
Monday May 11th at 8pm

Kind regards Bridget
