Stokey WI programme for 2015 below:  

All welcome :)

Here is a taster of the fun and inspiring events lined up for the coming year 

£5 per meeting for a visitor fee cash on the door or 

£36 annual membership  payable online

Our meetings are monthly on the second Monday of Each Month at 8pm and are held in Stoke Newington at:

On Monday 12th January 2015 we discussed the topics in depth and did short presentation on them all,  and put forward with a majority vote for the WI Resolution shortlist 

Plant a tree for the future 
(see last blog post for details) for Stokey WI to adopt as a a group & individuals  as it met our SMART objectives

Brainstorm this year's theme and call for volunteers.  Craft activity for decorating Albion Parade for International Women's Day - look at planting a tree from Resolution shortlist

Cup Cake Competion and Charity Fundraiser for our local charity the Refugee Women's Association


 

Refugee Women's Association in Dalston our local charity we support coming to update us on their activity and how they used the £500 we helped to raise last year at the www.beeandtea.co.uk charity tea in De Beauvoir last summer

Competition bring a cup cake you have made and decorated and we will vote with 50p each as to the winner - all funds raised to go to the RWA and volunteers from Stokey WI to help with Charity Bee & Tea tea in Aid of

Anna Kidd is walking the Thames path during this month and Middlesex has the WI Centenary baton  and is passing to Surre during the walk - all sponsorship much appreciated
